Little Cove Real EstateLittle Cove is one of the most desirable spots to own property in Noosa and is set nestled up into the side of the National Park looking out to Laguna Bay, the North Shore and down to Hastings Street. There is a wide variety of holiday apartments and private houses, ranging from little 2 bedroom units in small complexes to larger and more spacious houses and units surrounded by rainforest to gloriously luxurious properties with majestic views. Properties here are generally held for long periods and have been the destination of happy holiday makers from all over Australia and overseas. A series of small beaches stretches around the head, protected from harsh winds and lined with pandanus trees and natural bush. Walking tracks wind along the foreshore from Hastings Street giving easy access to and from the cove. MARKET REPORT The sales activity of autumn 2005 was followed by a flurry of listing activity in the winter quarter and now the summer should see the fruits of that labour. The vacant block running between Allambi Rise and Park Road, listed at $2.5 million now has a sold sign on it, but so far little else has changed. We still have a substantial home in Bayview Woods, a gated enclave of 5 only properties, for sale at $2.25 million, and there are several others up the eastern side of Bayview listed at up to $4.25 million. Across the road, in the residential part of Viridian, there are 4 houses for sale between $3.5 and $4.1 million. A stylish villa in Shearwater on the western side was sold at auction for $1.68million in October. A stunning 3 level townhouse in Mitti St is now being offered without a list price, and a renovated apartment in Kalang, a well positioned block of 4 in Allambi Rise is listed at $875,000 With only 2 sales registered, Little Cove continues its reputation as a low turnover, tightly held area, although the offerings in Viridian hint at speculation.
