ABOUT THE AREA After exhaustive international research, local architect Alan Starkey designed this magnificent golf course residential community just 5 minutes from Hastings Street. The winner of multiple urban development awards including the 2000 Urban Development Institute of Australia Award for Excellence, Noosa Springs flows effortlessly around the 18 hole championship golf course. The first quarter of 2005 has been a positive one for Noosa Springs with a number of excellent sales taking place and a lot of new construction being commenced or completed. More and more homes are underway in The Palms and The Ridge with several new starts taking place in the last few weeks alone. The construction of the new Eeenie Creek arterial road is now well advanced. The new road will travel under Noosa Springs Drive and down over the waterway at Weyba Creek. The road will have almost no impact on Noosa Springs residents other than to make our travel times around Noosa much faster and more convenient. We will simply exit Noosa Springs Drive and then join the new road by turning right off Leslie Drive past the police and fire stations. The initial release of Elysium Noosa just next door to Noosa Springs is off to a great start with 15 of the 41 dwellings in Stage One already sold. Twelve of Australia 's best architects have designed individual homes for each lot in collaboration with neighbouring sites and the overall streetscape and facilities. The market for villas in The Point, The Woods and The Cascades has been relatively slow in this first quarter, although there is quite a bit of activity in these precincts at present. The best value property in Noosa Springs would have to be Villa 226 on The Point reduced to $830,000, and exclusive to RE/MAX, this is sensational purchasing for a buyer seeking an on-course location at a budget price.
