Bribie Island Accommodation
Bribie Island is an easy weekend getaway as it’s connected to the mainland by a bridge. There’s two sides of Bribie Island, the calm side where families can swim in calm waters or the surf side which is a long stretch of sandy beach with a small surf, perfect for beginners.
Much of the island is covered in National Park but there are some developed areas where you can find resort accommodation, waterfront hotels and large apartments.
The general vibe of the island is definitely laidback with lots of restaurants for you to try including the award winning Bribie Island Citizens and RSL Clubs. There’s bowls clubs, golf courses, shopping strips and a whole host of water activities to keep you busy.
