Arguably, Bribie Island isn’t really a part of the Sunshine Coast. But when you consider the island’s easy access from Caloundra, and that the Bribie Island Golf Club is often ranked as the best course in Queensland, it’s hard to just let it go.  This hidden treasure of the south-east Queensland is built on natural sand dunes and offers golfers of all levels an enjoyable test of their skill. Hyatt Regency Coolum

As far as resort Golf Courses go, you can’t do much better in Australia than the Home of the Australian PGA Championship; the Hyatt Regency Coolum. Designed by renowned course architect Robert Trent Jones Jr, this 18 hole, par 72 course is ranked in the top 50 of Australian Golf Courses. The club also offers an extensive range of practice facilities and the latest in golf tuition.

Mount Coolum Golf Club

As the name suggests, this championship par 72 golf course is nestled at the foot of Mount Coolum, offering a wonderful backdrop as you play a round of 18 holes. It’s known as one of the most picturesque and popular on the Sunshine Coast and is a relatively flat course with water play on 12 of the holes. The club house is located in an original old Queenslander and includes facilities like showers, bar, pokies and conference rooms.

Noosa Springs Country Club

This 18 hole, par 72, championship course was designed to make the most of the Noosa National Park and Lake Weyba. The result is a wonderfully undulating course through native trees, forests and by the meandering lakes. Noosa Valley Country Club

Pacific Harbour Golf and Country Club

To preserve the Bribie Island location, environmentally friendly practices were employed in the construction of this course. Designed by world renowned Ross Watson in a traditional Scottish links style with every hole visually distinctive. Playing at a par 72, the course utilises multiple tee sets to offer a challenge for all level of golfers.
