Introduction to Mindfulness
Occurs every week on Monday
This 8-week course will introduce you to the how and why of Mindfulness meditation and will set you up with a simple practice that you can do anywhere, anytime, for less than 5 minutes a day.
Each week you’ll learn practical tools that will help you:
• Feel more calm
• Notice your stress triggers and how to prevent them
• Create a relaxation response
• Increase serotonin and other feelgood hormones
• Improve tissue/cell repair and healing
• Increase mental clarity
• Reduce anxiety, depression and anger
You’ll learn why you think you “can’t” meditate and ways to overcome other stumbling blocks. In just 8 weeks you’ll be well on your way to making positive changes in your life.
