Maleny Celebration of Books
Book swaps, workshops, film screenings, a big book club, writer's market, children's activities and special guest authors bring Maleny's literary passions alive during the town's 3rd annual Celebration of Books festival. Events will be held from 24 to 26 October in the Maleny Community Centre, library and RSL hall, with all invited to further explore the hinterland town and its host of bookshops, gift shops and cafes.
This year we welcome renowned local children's author and illustrator Peter Carnavas, and acclaimed Australian writer Melissa Lucashenko (pictured).
