Noosa River
Noosa River begins in Great Sandy National Park and slowly meanders south through several large fresh water lakes, including Lake Cootharaba and Lake Cooroibah. It emerges from the Everglades near Tewantin then curves past residential areas, recreational boat hire and waterfront restaurants before flowing out though sand bars at the mouth into the Pacific Ocean, past the main beach of Noosa.
