The Sunshine Coast Hinterland region encompasses the mountainous areas and plateaus behind the golden beaches, stretching from north to south and including the Blackall Ranges - often referred to as the "calm behind the coast". The region offers visitors a cool change in the heat of summer, with many things to see and do.
