Learn to Surf in Noosa

If you're wanting to learn to surf, Noosa is one of the best places in Australia to do it. As one of Queensland northernmost surf beaches (before the reef takes over the open ocean) and with the Noosa headland blocking the southeasterly winds, the waves are generally small, regular and clean - perfect conditions to learn to surf! There are a number of surf schools who set up camp daily on Noosa's Main Beach and will take you through how to paddle and stand up, before getting into the water. Once in the water, the water is waist deep, warm and with predicable small waves, you'll be standing up on a long board in no time.
